Kokopelli Rock candle - approx 4.5to 5.5"

The Kokopelli is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with feathers on his head), who is venerated by many Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli presides over both childbirth and agriculture. He also represents the spirit of music and said to Protect your Home.

Each candle is hand-crafted from natural stone, making it a unique piece of artistry that can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Instructions for Use:

  • Filling: Remove the brass tube and wick. Slowly fill the reservoir with 3–4 funnels of lamp oil (approximately 3–4 hours of burn time).

  • Oil Types: Use Ultra-Pure Paraffin Lamp Oil for indoor use (available at Ace Hardware, Hobby Lobby, or online). For outdoor use, citronella tiki oil is recommended to keep insects away.

  • Lighting: Slide the brass tube to the end of the wick and replace both. For indoor use, keep the wick low (1/4" or less). For outdoor use, the wick can be set higher to prevent the flame from blowing out.

  • Maintenance: Do not trim the fiberglass wick; it is designed not to burn away. Simply add more oil when you are ready to use the candle again.

Safety Note: Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Each candle comes with a funnel and a printed copy of these instructions. Because every rock is one-of-a-kind, please feel free to contact me if you would like to see pictures of my current inventory or to select a specific stone.
